Thrive Green Media is a leading agency renowned for its expertise in coaching entrepreneurs. We empower startups and growing businesses by offering tailored coaching and training for entrepreneurs. We also offer mentorships through mentors for NGOs in Nigeria. We serve NGOs whose primary audience is entrepreneurs through our NGO coaching for entrepreneurs service, providing strategies and support to guide entrepreneurs toward achieving sustainable growth.
Evolve Africa is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to nurturing the next generation of African entrepreneurs through comprehensive business kickstart and incubation programs. Since its inception, Evolve Africa has reached thousands of entrepreneurs across Nigeria, facilitating their access to seed capital, including business grants, equity funding, and business loans. They believe that small businesses are catalysts for economic development, and their focus is on equipping grassroots entrepreneurs with the skills, resources, and mentorship needed to start locally and scale globally.
Client's Needs:
Evolve Africa, in its quest to offer training focused on supporting grassroots entrepreneurs, needed expert coaching services, to empower the entrepreneurs within their community with skills necessary to succeed. This led to a partnership with Thrive Green Media to coach these entrepreneurs on social media marketing, digital communication ethics, and branding.
Thrive Green Media delivered coaching for entrepreneurs by recording a series of video tutorials/courses on the mentioned topics. These courses were studied by the entrepreneurs, In addition, every entrepreneur who took courses was paired with our digital marketing expert in a mentorship group, allowing them to ask questions and get clarity on specific areas as they learn. We also organized occasional group check-in calls to ensure that their learning was progressive, while they got guidance as they progressed.
After each cohort, we offered some of the entrepreneurs the opportunity to intern with Thrive Green Media to reinforce hands-on learning and experience, helping them implement and re-enforce what they have learned.
Overview of Services Provided:
- Coaching and Mentorship: Thrive Green Media delivered expert coaching services to Evolve Africa’s community of entrepreneurs, developing a series of video tutorials and courses tailored to equip entrepreneurs with essential digital skills.
- Mentorship: We facilitated peer-to-peer mentorship by connecting Evolve Africa's entrepreneurs with a seasoned digital marketing expert. This personalized guidance ensured that each participant received hands-on support and practical insights, enhancing their learning experience.
- Course Development: Our team meticulously designed and recorded comprehensive courses tailored to the unique needs of grassroots entrepreneurs. These courses provided valuable, actionable knowledge that the entrepreneurs could directly apply to their businesses and careers.
What Was Achieved?
Through our partnership with Evolve Africa, we have achieved notable outcomes:
- Enhanced Entrepreneurial Skills: About 100 entrepreneurs who have joined each cohort have taken our courses and gained valuable skills, empowering them to promote their businesses, careers, and professional portfolios online effectively.
- Long-term Mentorship: Since inception in 2020, during covid, till date, some of the entrepreneurs are still in contact with our coach to help them get clarity as they navigate the complexities of business and the evolving job market.
